thumbnail Hello,

The Swiss shot-stopper is expected to miss eight to ten weeks.

Toronto FC announced Saturday that goalkeeper Stefan Frei suffered a broken fibula during Friday's training session. Frei is expected to be out of Toronto FC's lineup for eight to ten weeks.

Frei will undergo an MRI next week to determine the extent of his injury and whether surgery is required.

In Frei's place, Milos Kocic will step in as the team's number one goalkeeper. The 26-year-old Serbian made seven starts last season, and impressed in CONCACAF Champions League action last week, leading TFC to an upset quarterfinal victory over the LA Galaxy.
