Los Angeles Galaxy defender Dasan Robinson retires from Major League Soccer
The 27-year-old defender who has had career stops at Chicago, Toronto and Los Angeles has retired and told Goal.com that he plans to get into coaching among other projects.

Los Angeles Galaxy defender Dasan Robinson has retired from Major League Soccer, deciding to call a close to his five-year career.
The 27-year-old center back announced the decision on twitter.
"Dear Family, Friends, and Fans, I am writing to let you all know that I have officially retired from professional soccer. It was not an easy," Robinson tweeted from his @Dae32 account.
Speaking with Goal.com, Robinson revealed his next professional step will be getting involved in coaching. He also plans to work in Sports/Recreation Ministries and will likely return to the Chicago area.
"To my personal fans, Chicago fans, Toronto, and LA's fans I'd like to say thank you for everything, without your support and allegiance I wouldn't have made it this far," Robinson told Goal.com via email.
Robinson previously played the Fire and Toronto FC. One of his career highlights was playing in the 2006 U.S. Open Cup Final with Chicago, defeating Los Angeles in 3-1 victory to hoist the trophy.
