Chivas USA announced the club has acquired Ecuadorian attacking midfielder/winger Miller Bolaños, who will join the Red-and-White pending receipt of his ITC and P-1 Visa. Per league policy, details of the contract were not revealed.

“Miller is an exciting young attacking player,” said Chivas USA head coach, Robin Fraser. “He’s a good passer, good finisher, and good at running at people, definitely a special attacking talent and we certainly look forward to having him."

The 21-year-old joins from L.D.U Quito in his native Ecuador, where he appeared in 93 matches, starting 65 and scoring 22 goals after a 2009 transfer from Barcelona Sporting Club of Guayaquil.

“He is a versatile player that was sought out by other international clubs. He really wanted to play here and we got it done,” said Jose Domene, Chivas USA general manager.

“He will be a great addition to Chivas USA because he is a different type of player that is not afraid to take on people. Miller has a great shot and can play as a winger, attacking mid and second forward,” Domene added.
