Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Terry Boss announces retirement
The Sounders lose another goalkeeper this offseason.

The Seattle Sounders have announced that goalkeeper Terry Boss has retired from soccer, following a serious of concussions during the 2011 season.
"We are going to miss Terry," said Sounders FC head coach Sigi Schmid. "He was a valuable member of the Sounders and it is unfortunate his career has come to a close. We wish him well and good health in his future."
Boss, 30, acted as the team's backup goalkeeper to Kasey Keller for the last three seasons, who also announced his retirement this offseason.
"It has been a great honor and privilege to play for Sounders FC," said Boss. "This has obviously been difficult, but the support I have received from my family, friends, teammates, coaches, front office and fans has been tremendous. From the top down this team has always felt like a family, and needless to say I will never forget the time I spent in Seattle."
An Oregon native, Boss joined the Sounders in 2009 after two years with the New York Red Bulls. He has also been capped by the Puerto Rico national team on seven occasions.
Seattle also announced that defender Taylor Graham, 31, has decided to hang up the boots. He made one league appearance for the club in three seasons.
"We want to thank Taylor for all of his contributions to the Sounders and the Seattle community," said Sounders FC head coach Sigi Schmid. "He has been a Sounder for many years and will always have a special place in the hearts of our supporters."
