Agent: Former Tottenham defender Lee Young-Pyo close to Vancouver Whitecaps move
The veteran South Korean full-back has been clubless since leaving Al Hilal in June but his agent has revealed he's close to completing a move to the MLS outfit.

Former Korea international Lee Young-Pyo is on the verge of signing a two-year deal with Major League Soccer (MLS) club Vancouver Whitecaps according to his agent.
The 34-year-old ex-PSV Eindhoven, Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham full-back has been clubless since leaving Saudi Arabian outfit Al Hilal in June.
Lee had discussed the possibility of retirement following his departure from Saudi Arabia, and he made it clear he wasn't interested in a move to the Korean K-League. However, Lee now appears set for a move to Canada with his representatives, Jissen Agency, revealing in the Korean press a move was close to being agreed.
"We still disagree on one or two details so we need a bit more time, but the Whitecaps seem very interested in signing Lee," Jissen told The Chosun Ilbo.
Vancouver, which finished last on the overall MLS table for 2011, has a policy of not discussing potential signings before deals have been completed and refused to confirm any interest in Lee.
Lee retired from the South Korean national team following the 2011 Asian Cup in January after 127 caps.
