  • D.C. suffered a difficult 2-2 draw at home against Chivas USA Wednesday night. The match saw United give up a 2-0 lead and Dwayne De Rosario had a late penalty saved which would have won the game.
  • Real Salt Lake is now tied for second place in the Western Conference with a game in hand on Seattle, with a record of 15-7-6 (51 points).
  • Wednesday's result leaves D.C. at 12th in the overall standings (10th is the final playoff spot), trailing New York and Portland by one and two points respectively. However, D.C. holds two games in hand over both teams.
  • RSL has now won three straight road matches for only the second time in club history.
