thumbnail Hello,

Expansion sides Portland and Vancouver have first fixture unveiled.

Major League Soccer officially unveiled the opening fixtures to the 2011 season on Monday afternoon with the Seattle Sounders taking part in their third straight First Kick as they'll host the Los Angeles Galaxy on March 15th.

The 18 teams in the league will play a balanced 34-match schedule with everyone playing each other once in a home and away fixture.

The Vancouver Whitecaps will open their inaugural campaign against Toronto FC on March 19th while the Porland Timbers will have to wait until April 14th before their stadium opens.

Sporting KC will open their new stadium in June which means the opening part of their schedule will be heavy with away fixtures.
