thumbnail Hello,

The 23-year-old backup has been let go.

D.C. United kept the goalkeeping questions rolling by announcing that Andrew Quinn, a 23-year-old backup who has yet to play for the first team, has been released.

The local product struggled to find playing time after an early season knee injury and will be replaced in the backup roll by former Richmond Kicker 'keeper Chase Harrison.

The move comes in the wake of news that 19-year-old Bill Hamid's torn labrum in the joint of his right shoulder will require surgery, leaving United in need of a more experienced backup.
