Real Salt Lake Loans Defender Chris Schuler To AC St. Louis

The young defender will join St. Louis for the second time.

Real Salt Lake today announced the loan of rookie defender Chris Schuler to AC St. Louis. Schuler will join the USSF D-2 Pro League immediately and is eligible for selection for the game on Sept. 5 against Miami FC.

Schuler, the 39th overall pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft, previously featured for St. Louis in two July games, away losses at the Montreal Impact and Crystal Palace Baltimore. He has not featured yet for Salt Lake in MLS play, but played in the team's 1-2 U.S. Open Cup loss against D.C. United and in friendlies against the Mexican U-21 national team and Costa Rican outfit Puntarenas FC.
