Kick Around: Which DP Signing Will Fit MLS Best?

Major League Soccer is seeing the benefit of relaxed designated player rules in the new CBA with a host of DP signings this summer.

The New York Red Bulls led the charge by capturing French superstar Thierry Henry the day the international transfer window opened. The former Barcelona and Arsenal striker joins Juan Pablo Angel in a one-two DP punch in the frontline.

New York is openly searching for a third designated player to add to the roster as well.

Shortly after, two Mexican internationals carved out roster spots in MLS. The Chicago Fire signed the mercurial Nery Castillo and the Kansas City Wizards penned Omar Bravo. Both are looking to revive once-promising careers in the United States.

Seattle Sounders FC had wrapped up the signing of Blaise Nkufo months ago, but only revealed after the Swiss international striker joined that he was a designated player.

With all the latest additions, the Goal.com editors discuss which one will fit MLS the best and provide the most bang for buck in this week's Kick Around. Watch the video below.
