VIDEO: Seattle Sounders FC And Celtic FC Coaches Comment On Red Card
By John Zielonka
SEATTLE, Wash. – In their post-game reaction s to Celtic FC’s 2-1 friendly win over Seattle Sounders FC, both coaches felt the red card issued by referee Paul Ward in the 29th minute ruined what could have been a good match.
Seattle head coach Sigi Schmid, on the losing end of the official’s decision, provided the more colorful responses to ‘keeper Terry Boss’ ejection.
His counterpart, Neil Lennon, would have preferred 11-on-11 play as his squad prepares the upcoming Scottish Premier League season.
Watch the video below to view and hear the atmosphere at Qwest Field and the post-game press conference with Schmid and Lennon.
