VIDEO: Early Contender For Miss Of The Season: Conor Casey (Colorado Rapids) Versus Kansas City Wizards
Avert your eyes if you want to avoid Casey's embarrassment.

There was Dinamo Zagreb’s centre-forward Ilija Sivonjic save on the line, British non-league striking legend Rocky Baptiste’s insane miss from the goalline, and Dani’s unbelievable Ronny Rosenthal-inspired blooper for Real Betis.
And the horrors continued. Alianza Lima forward Jose Carlos Fernandez experienced an incredibly bad rabbit-in-the-headlights moment in Peru, while Congolese striker Joel Tshibamba contrived to also pull off a miss of Rosenthal proportions for Arka Gdynia in Poland.
And who could forget Kansas City Wizards forward Kei Kamara's unbelievable miss against the LA Galaxy.
Now Conor Casey has set the standard for misses during the new 2010-11 season by fluffing a goal your granny would have scored.
Playing against the Kansas City Wizards in the MLS on Saturday night, Casey had the opportunity to claim all three points for the Colorado Rapids when, after a killer through-ball from Claudio Lopez, he rounded the keeper in the 89th minute to leave himself facing an open goal. Although at an angle, planting the ball into the vacant net should have been a formality for the Rapids center-forward.
As you can imagine, things didn't go to plan. With his balance all over the place, Casey saw his uncontrolled left-footed shot strike the outside of the post and the Wizards held on for a point.
Conor Casey's terrible miss can be seen here.
