Galaxy Schedule Date With Real Madrid At Rose Bowl
The Spanish giants will be visiting Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Galaxy replaced a friendly with Champions League winners Inter by scheduling a date with Real Madrid. The match will take place August 7 at the Rose Bowl
“While we were looking forward to playing Inter Milan, we are very pleased to be able to bring our fans a game against one of the world’s biggest clubs, one that features a host of the world’s top players in Real Madrid,” said Tom Payne, LA Galaxy President of Business Operations in a press release. “Many fans will remember Madrid’s last visit to Los Angeles when the teams played in front of a capacity crowd at The Home Depot Center in 2005, and now we will be hosting them at the historic Rose Bowl in what will prove to be another memorable game for soccer fans throughout Southern California.”
The first time the Galaxy hosted Real Madrid the nine-time European champions walked away from the Home Depot Center with a 2-0 win back in 2005.
Last year the Galaxy hosted Real's rivals Barcelona at the Rose Bowl, losing 2-1 in front of more than 93,000 fans.
