LA Galary are looking to sign AC Milan star Ronaldinho, according to a report in Tuttomercato.

The MLS side are looking to boost the image of football in the United States and have set their sights on the Brazilian as they plan to pair him with England international David Beckham.

Ronaldinho, 30, joined Milan from Barcelona in 2008, and after an indifferent first year at San Siro, he has started to show the level of form which earned him two FIFA Player of the Year awards while in Catalonia.

He has a contract with Milan until 2011, with his employers believed to be showing no interest in parting with one of their best players of last season.

However, it is reported that Ronaldinho, who failed to make the cut to Brazil's World Cup squad, wants to listen to LA Galaxy's offer before deciding his future.
