The Daily Mail has reported that Claudine Keane is keen for her husband to hop across the pond to Major League Soccer, despite rumors of an impending players' strike in the USA top-flight.
'Would I like to see him play for a team like LA Galaxy? Yes, I would love that," the paper claimed Mrs. Keane said.
The California club already lays claim to two of the biggest stars in MLS, Landon Donovan and David Beckham.
However, Beckham is injured and unlikely to play for about six months.
Ireland international Keane is currently on loan to Celtic, but expected to return to Tottenham after his stint with the Glasgow club ends.
