New England Sends Albright To New York For Picks

Defender Chris Albright has been shipped to New York in exchange for draft picks in Thursday's MLS SuperDraft.

The New England Revolution shipped defender Chris Albright to New York on Thursday in exchange for two draft picks in the 2010 SuperDraft.

Albright set a career high for minutes played in 2008 when he featured in 26 matches for the Revs, only to have his 2009 season come up well short. The 31-year-old only made one appearance last season.

The Revolution will get the 31st and 48th overall pick in the draft in exchange for the 11 year veteran, leaving New England with five picks.
