Holden To Train With EPL's Burnley

The Dynamo man is off to England to train with the EPL newboys.

Houston Dynamo midfielder Stuart Holden is set to go on trial with English Premier League side Burnley, according to reports from FOX Houston.

The Aberdeen, Scotland native has been out of contract with the MLS club and is looking to make the jump abroad with teams in Scotland being his first choice.

Also linked with Blackburn Rovers, the 24-year-old Holden will have the option to sign with Burnley if the club feel he's a suitable pick-up for them.

He spent a short time with Sunderland in 2005, but wasn't able to break the first team. In 2006 he signed with Houston and has been there ever since, having made 88 appearances for the club.
