Donovan Granted Work Permit To Play For Everton
The US star has ben cleared to play for the Toffees.
LA Galaxy hotshot Landon Donovan has been granted a work permit to ply his trade in England, and the 27-year-old will consequently join Everton on loan next month, confirmed Everton's official wesbite.
The American had in the past expressed a desire to make a move to Goodison Park and play alongside international team-mate Tim Howard.
The deal to bring in the United States of America skipper was recently concluded after the MLS gave the Galaxy player a green light to make a move to Goodison Park for a two-and-a-half month period.
Following a successful completion of the agreement betweent the two clubs, the former Bayer Leverkusen player had to go through standard procedure and apply for a work permit to link-up with the Toffees.
This has now been granted, and Donovan is expected to play under manager David Moyes from January 2.
