MLS Playoffs: VIDEO: Donovan Savors Playoff Win
Watch video of Landon Donovan's thoughts following the Los Angeles Galaxy's 1-0 win over Chivas USA in the MLS playoffs.
A subdued and tired Landon Donovan let his words carry the emotion he couldn't muster after his penalty gave the Los Angeles Galaxy a 1-0 win over Chivas USA.
"It's huge for our franchise," Donovan said of the win. "I think you can sense it. We understand what this all means. But we're not satisfied, that's not good enough for us and now we have a big opportunity to do something special."
For Donovan and the Galaxy the last visit to the playoffs, in 2005, yielded an MLS Cup victory. Having spent the last three years on the outs, without qualifying for the playoffs, Donovan is eager to take advantage.
