The Los Angeles Galaxy star has helped his club team into playoff contention this season with ten goals.

Yet the team is barely ahead of Chivas USA, their city rivals who will challenge them this weekend for the Superclasico trophy and second place in the Western Conference.

Of course, this summer also marks a brilliant run of form for Donovan, one that has drawn attention from leagues in Europe and could see him bid farewell to Major League Soccer at the end of the season.
