Houston To Host 2010 All-Star Game
Houston has been confirmed as the host of the 2010 All-Star game.
Major League Soccer has announced that Houston will host the 2010 All-Star game. One of Robertson Stadium or Reliant Stadium will be selected as the venue at a later date. Also to be decided is the date and opponent, but the game is slated to happen after the 2010 World Cup.
“The city of Houston has consistently and fervently supported the Dynamo and other high-profile soccer events in recent years,” MLS commissioner Don Garber said ahead of the 2009 edition in Sandy, Utah. “Houston will be a tremendous site for the 2010 MLS All-Star game and we are pleased to reward its vibrant soccer community with the week of festivities that surround this marquee event.”
