New England’s Twellman Back On The Disabled List

After only two appearances this season the New England Revolution will have to play without Taylor Twellman for at least six more matches.

The injury problems in New England don’t seem to be getting any better and today news came from the organization that Taylor Twellman would once again be placed on the disabled list. The injury will keep Twellman out of Major League Soccer action for at least six matches.

Still suffering from the same injury that limited Twellman in 2008 and has kept the potent striker off the field for most of 2009 has resurfaced.

According to a press release from the Revolution the decision to place Twellman on the disabled list came after a visit to his doctor where the player showed concussive symptoms.

New England will take on Atlas of Mexico on Sunday in their final group game of the 2009 SuperLiga before returning to regular MLS play against the Galaxy on July 4.
