Trinidad & Tobago striker Cornell Glen has returned to Major League Soccer with the San Jose Earthquakes. Formerly Glen has spent time at four other MLS clubs: the New York Metrostars, FC Dallas, the Columbus Crew, and the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Injury sidelined his LA career in 2006, and he spent time back home in T&T.

San Jose is looking for some spark to ignite the team, currently languishing tied for bottom of the league with five points. The team has scored only eight goals in eight games.

"I've been working very hard towards this and coming here I felt this was the chance I had to grab," Glen said, according to the Trinidad & Tobago Express. "It's good for me because I have the experience of playing in the MLS before and hopefully now I can establish myself again and help the club go on to greater things. They are an ambitious club and I hope to play a part in helping them achieve success."

The 28-year-old has signed through the end of the season, with an option for a year-long extension.
