Goal.com's MLS Team Of The Week: Round 9
In a drab week overall, goalkeepers stood out in Major League Soccer action for round nine.

Goalkeeper:
Jon Conway (New York Red Bulls): With consistent performances like the one that kept the 10-men Bulls in the game against Houston, Conway would be guaranteed his starting place.
Defense:
Dejan Jakovic (D.C. United): Composed, calm, one step ahead of the play, and distribution that let United start its passing offense from deep were some of the hallmarks of Jakovic's masterclass against Chivas. Didn't deserve to be on the side that conceded two goals and two points.
Jhon Kennedy Hurtado (Seattle Sounders FC): The more consistent of Seattle's Colombian purchases this summer, Hurtado stayed up after a corner to score with the finesse of a (very classy) striker.
Wilman Conde (Chicago Fire): An imposing figure at the back in Chicago's tough away win at Toronto.
Midfield:
Santino Quaranta (D.C. United): A point salvaged, a goal, an assist, and a baby were the major talking points in Quaranta's life this week. Probably not in that order.
Carl Robinson (Toronto FC): Disrupted Chicago's midfield, including Cuautemoc Blanco, effectively. His contribution was undone by errors from his teammates.
Paulo Nagamura (Chivas USA): As Jesse Marsch's mobility decreases, Nagamura's seems to grow. He's grown into an all-action midfielder who dominates games.
Guillermo Barros Schelotto (Columbus Crew): On his way to another MVP award if his displays continue to be of the caliber of the midfield domination against LA.
Colin Clark (Colorado Rapids): Emerging as one of (if not the) elite winger in MLS with powerful and pacy performances down the left flank for Colorado.
Attack:
Josh Wolff (Kansas City Wizards): KC have a cluster of attackers who can play deeper midfielder roles, but, of them, Wolff has shown the best goal-poaching instincts. His brace condemned RSL to a first home loss of the season.
Conor Casey (Colorado Rapids): His size and tenacity make him unplayable for many MLS defenses. Count defensively-solid New England among those teams.
Bench:
Donovan Ricketts (Los Angeles Galaxy), Kevin Hartman (Kansas City Wizards), Gregg Berhalter (Los Angeles Galaxy), Emmanuel Ekpo (Columbus Crew), Steve Zakuani (Seattle Sounders FC), Fred (D.C. United), Chris Rolfe (Chicago Fire)
