FCD's Dario Sala Sidelined For Next Month
Dario Sala's injury woes continue, as the FC Dallas goalkeeper will miss the next four to six weeks through a knee injury.
Dario Sala will miss the next four to six weeks through injury. An MRI uncovered bone bruising in his left knee. That knee has been a problem area for the FC Dallas goalkeeper, as Sala underwent meniscus surgery on it in March.
Sala's 2009 Major League Soccer season is off to a tepid start. After starting the opening game against the Chicago Fire, he missed four games to recover from surgery. In his first match back, against Chivas USA, he was sent off and missed the next week's match.
The 34-year-old missed this weekend's game against the Houston Dynamo after feeling pain in his knee, and will now miss the next month at least. Ray Burse will continue to deputize in his absence.
