VIDEO: Schmid Pleased With San Jose Win
Seattle Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid was visibly pleased with his side's victory over the San Jose Earthquakes. Watch Goal.com's video of the 2008 MLS coach of the year.
Sigi Schmid and Seattle Sounders FC halted a two game losing streak by beating the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 at home. Goals in each half, as well as some fantastic play by the returning Kasey Keller, eased Seattle into the three points. After the match, head coach Schmid looked obviously gleeful with the result.
"I thought our team played very well tonight," the coach said. "We moved the ball around well, we created a number of opportunities in the first half. "
