Colorado Waive DiRaimondo; Sign Michael Holody
The Colorado Rapids have made two roster moves, waiving midfielder John DiRaimondo and signing defender Michael Holody.
The Colorado Rapids have made two roster moves ahead of the second week of Major League Soccer's 2009 season. The club cut midfielder John DiRaimondo and signed defender Michael Holody.
DiRaimondo played in 11 games for the Rapids in 2008, scoring one goal. Holody was selected 59th overall in the 2008 SuperDraft out of the University of Michigan, and was the college's all-time leader in minutes played with 6,498. The 6-3 defender signed a developmental contract.
