Sala Has Surgery, Out For Six Weeks
FC Dallas' Argentinian goalkeeper Dario Sala had knee surgery and is expected to be out for up to six weeks.
Sala started and made three saves in the FC Dallas' season-opening loss
to Chicago on Saturday, March 21.
Last year, the 34-year-old posted a career-high seven shutouts while matching his career-best of 28 starts, but the team fell short of making Major League Soccer's playoffs.
Backup goalkeeper Ray Burse will be given the nod in place of Sala, as young goalkeeper Josh Lambo, only 19, is still considered too inexperienced for the starter's role.
