VIDEO: Donovan and Kirovski On Beckham Loan
Landon Donovan and Jovan Kirovski spoke about David Beckham's extended loan deal from the LA Galaxy to A.C. Milan to the press today. Watch the video here on Goal.com
Landon Donovan and Jovan Kirovski, Los Angeles Galaxy teammates of David Beckham, spoke to the media about the Englishman's extended loan to A.C. Milan. Under the current deal, Beckham will play out the Italian season in Milan, and return to California once the international transfer window opens in July.
That would mean he would play in 13 Major League Soccer games before the 2009 MLS season expired. Beckham paid a substantial amount out of his own pocket to stay in Italy.
Donovan spoke of Beckham's "world-class talent," saying, "I want the best for him." Kirovski chose to focus on the teammates left in sunny LA.
