Milan midfielder David Beckham has hinted that he could stay on at Milan as he believes playing at the club is “something special.”

The Englishman has been working his socks off at the club as he tries to rescue his international future with England. Beckham is enjoying Milanese life and reports are rife with speculation over his future in Italy.

Milan have not hidden the fact that they want to keep him at all costs, and it seems that ‘Becks’ wants to stay on, too.

"Playing here is every player's dream, but deciding what to do is not easy," Beckham told Il Corriere Della Sera.

"It's something that will take time. I am under contract with the Galaxy and I have plenty of respect for them. However, the possibility of playing for Milan is special. I knew I would have fun, but I didn't know I would be enjoying it this much."

Beckham has made an instant impact with his new team and he admits his surprise with the way his integration with the rest of the squad has gone.

"Everyone has worked hard to help me and I have been welcomed very well. Sometimes it takes weeks or months to settle and I am a little surprised," added the midfielder.

The former Manchester United man has compared his new team with the Red Devils, which ironically share the same nick name as Milan, who are known as Il Diavolo.

"I find it similar to Manchester United. There is the tradition that only big clubs have," added Becks.

"At Milan, like United, you breathe a special atmosphere wherever you go, on the pitch, in training, in the stadium.

"And then Milan have that trophy room, and this makes you feel special."
