Costa Rican Daniel Torres Signs With Dallas

Costa Rican international defender Daniel Torres has signed with FC Dallas from Norwegian club Bryne FK.

FC Dallas have signed defender Daniel Torres, the club announced today. He joines from Bryne FK of Norway’s Second Division.

Torres has previous Major League Soccer experience with the Columbus Crew, from 2001 - 2003, and Real Salt Lake, from 2006 - 2007. In between he has played in Costa Rica, Sweden, and Norway.

The 31-year-old is currently in Honduras training with the Costa Rican national team for the UNCAF Nations Cup. He will arrive in Dallas after that competition ends on February 1st, pending a work vista.
