All the distractions, hesitations, and niggling doubts go out the window now. It's cup final time.

Dave van den Bergh says he and his Red Bull New York teammates will wipe all of that aside tomorrow. They take on the Columbus Crew in the MLS Cup final in Los Angeles, and there are no more chances after these 90 minutes.

"We don't need any outside motivation," the midfielder said after training. "If you're not motivated to win a final, I don't know when you will be motivated."

Scorer of the winner against Real Salt Lake to bring New York to this stage, van den Bergh also brushed aside concerns that his team didn't deserve to be in the final. All clubs know what they have to do--hit peak form in the playoffs--he says, and his team have done it.
