Unfortunate to finish on the losing side, keeping his side in the game at crucial times with a string of brilliant stops. Excellent display.
Stuck close to Adebayor early on denying him room to manoeuvre and forcing him to drop deeper, but should have done better to get out to Bale for his goal.
Always available down the flank for the pass and offered plenty of support but his delivery from wide areas was frequently poor and ended up inadvertently setting up the opening goal.
Very solid at left-back and while he offered little going forward and in the final third, his reserved style saw Lennon's movement restricted and played a lovely pass for Cole's goal.
Capable in the air and strong in the tackle, he continued his consistent form this season with yet another composed display.
A bright start down the left saw him beat Walker for pace on the outside and try his luck after a good move and looked lively throughout with his running in behind.
Picked up a knock early on but got himself in and around Carroll to provide an aerial threat and indirectly set up the equaliser before hobbling off.
Drifted in off the right flank to good effect in the first half and wasn't afraid to probe and play the ball forward at pace on the deck. Took O'Brien's long diagonal pass down expertly before handing his side the lead with a clinical finish.
Willing runner in midfield both on and off the ball, with his combative nature giving Dembele something to think about, but can sometimes seem too selfish in the final third when a simple pass will suffice.
Tasked with keeping an eye on Lennon's forward runs down the right and supported O'Brien well in a defensive sense, covering plenty of ground.
Played an excellent ball around the corner for Cole that started a flowing counterattack in the first half, before showing quick feet to win a penalty and good composure to send Lloris the wrong way from the spot. Lost Caulker on three occasions from corners at the other end, though and his marking was woeful.
Made two smart stops down low inside the opening ten minutes when his side were on the back foot and clawed away a Diame cross with Cole lurking at his near post. Should have perhaps got more on Cole's scuffed goal. Snuffed out a Taylor chance brilliantly with his speed off the line.
Beaten in the air by Carroll whenever the ball was played forward to him, but organised his back four well and kept them focused on the task in hand.
Caught out high up the pitch for Jarvis' chance early on and wasted the ball in promising positions on more than one occasion with wildly optimistic efforts from range. Improved as the game wore on, though, with one superb last-ditch block on Jarvis the highlight.
Still very raw positionally when the game becomes more stretched and Carroll's sheer physicality posed problems for the young defender, but looked a real threat at the other end from set-pieces.
Fortunate not to concede another penalty in the first half for a clumsy foul on Carroll at the back post, and completely lost Cole for his goal by playing an offside trap his team-mates were unaware of.
His natural game of keeping it simple, rotating in the middle of the park and laying the ball out wide worked well, but his tackle leading to the penalty and Carroll's equaliser was both reckless and poorly judged.
Continued his superb recent run of form with another well-taken goal in the first half before a sublime strike from distance won the game. Makes the game look so simple at times and has quickly become one of the most deadly players in the world, with his free kick also leading to Sigurdsson's equaliser.
Isolated by a lack of service in the first half, with only one rare run and shot to show for his efforts, but is quickly carving out a reputation for himself as one of the best wingers at tracking back in the entire league.
Played in an absolutely beautiful ball from out wide on the left which deserved more on the end of it and drifted in between the lines and found space to exploit at times before being subbed off. Not as his best.
A real driving force from midfield, both tracking the runs of Diame and spraying the ball out wide and starting attacks, also showing that he's not afraid to stick his boot in when it matters.
Wasteful as the team's focal point to a somewhat less fluid attack than usual, losing possession far too easily under pressure. Missed an absolute sitter following Sigurdsson's effort from well outside the box that was tipped onto the post.
Struggled when he came on at left-back after the team's defensive reshuffle and gave Lennon far too much room to attack him on the outside and get a cross into the box. Very poor.
Came on for the injured Nolan in the first half and slotted in seamlessly, helping crank up the pressure after the interval with his excellent delivery from dead balls but should have scored when played through only to see Lloris rush out and get something on the ball.
Came on for Diame to add some energy to a midfield that was in danger of being dominated but had little time to make a lasting impact on proceedings.
Came on just ten minutes into the second half and went close with a fabulous effort from distance, hitting the post. Looked dangerous cutting in off the left flank before poking in at the back post to help his side back into the game.
Replaced the tiring Parker late on but with the game but didn't have any real influence with the flow so stretched.
Introduced to try and add a degree of spark and control in the middle of the park, with the visitors struggling to get any tempo going and kept the ball ticking over well.
