  • And there it is. This one is over. Poor match for Sepctor, bad luck for West Ham. The relegation problems are very real for the Hammers.
  • 90'
    Yellow Card Pablo Zabaleta
  • 90'
Nice driving run from Hines has West Ham in another good spot. If they score here it'll be a nervous final minute or so for City... But it's not to be.
  • 89'
    Assist Victor Obinna
  • 89'
    Goal James Tomkins
  • 89'
Unmarked in the middle of the box off the corner, Tompkins pulls one back for the Hammers. Too little, far too late, but it's something for West Ham to take from the match.
  • 86'
    SubstitutionDavid Silva James Milner
  • 86'
Would love to see West Ham's shots vs shots on goal. Has to be like 30 to 3. These guys will have a go from anywhere, but they should try to at least get it close.
  • 85'
    Yellow Card Nigel De Jong
  • 85'
De Jong gets the card here mostly for being Nigel De Jong. Not really much wrong with that tackle.
  • 81'
    Goal Adam Johnson
  • 81'
Make it three. Adam Johnson this time. West ham are cooked.Best bet now might be to push back and try to hold the 3-0 scoreline.
  • 81'
    Assist David Silva
  • 80'
    SubstitutionFrédéric Piquionne Zavon Hines
  • 73'
And there's number two for Manchester City and number two on the day from Yaya Toure. (Correction: Called an own goal, rightfully so, though Toure clearly did the work to create it.)
  • 73'
    Assist Yaya Touré
  • 73'
Spector at fault again, kind of. The American gave the ball away in the midfield, but the run from Toure skipped past a defender, knocked the ball off the post, rebound hit Robert Green in the back and went in. Crazy goal, bad luck for Spector and West Ham.
  • 73'
    Own Goal Robert Green
  • 71'
    SubstitutionP. Barrera C. Cole
  • 71'
Bringing on Carlton Cole for West Ham for Barrera. Shame to take off the best performer of the day to this point, but Barrera has looked poor in front of goal and Cole is a poacher.
  • 69'
Very entertaining right now, but the real chances are being limited. Spector has pushed forward more and Barrera has been on the ball more in the second half, while City are hitting mostly on the counter.
  • 66'
Sing of a good game, now it's West Ham pushing the pace and looking more likely to score.
  • 65'
    SubstitutionJunior Stanislas Kieron Dyer
  • 61'
    SubstitutionMario Balotelli Adam Johnson
  • 61'
And now Mancini takes him off for Adam Johnson. Smart move. The Italian looked like he was in a mood to get sent off.
  • 59'
    Yellow Card Mario Balotelli
  • 59'
Balotelli booked, basically for acting like a 15-yea-old. Then again, he's not much older than that.
  • 57'
Hammers looked stretched and tired. I give City another few minutes before it's 2-0.
  • 54'
Spector tries his luck from deep. Never going to score that, but at least he got a shot off. Too little of that from the West Ham midfield today... other than Barrera.
  • 53'
Yaya back at the other end nearly grabs his second with another hard shot.
  • 52'
Barrera again looking dangerous. He just tried the "Clint Dempsey-Juventus" chip. Put it well over, but the Mexican has been West Ham's best attacking player today.
  • 50'
Barrera with a good cross in but nobody in the box for West Ham. A good spell of pressure though with another ball coming in and making Joe Hart do a bit of work.
  • 47'
    Yellow Card Tal Ben Haim
  • 45' + 1'
And we're back. West Ham kick off to get the second half started.
  • 45'
Halftime whistle. It's City 1 West Ham 0 as we head to the break.
  • 45'
Piquionne with a snap header just over Hart's goal. Credit to West Ham they've continued to try and go forward. Too many snap shots though while City look composed.
  • 41'
But it's all City here really. They've clearly been the better side.
  • 39'
Scott Parker with a nice hit toward goal, once again set up by Barrera.
  • 35'
Waste of possession there from Obinna on the right but Barrera saves it by drawing a foul, which Obinna wastes.
  • 34'
Barrera getting it done on the other end. The Mexican winger clears a Ballotelli header off the line after a corner. Tough sledding here for West Ham. City look confident and hungry for more goals.
  • 30'
And there's the goal. It's Yaya from Barry, top of the box left footed. Bad news for Spector, that one's on him. Lost Toure coming through the middle and couldn't recover. 1-0 to the visitors.
  • 30'
    Assist Gareth Barry
  • 30'
    Goal Yaya Touré
  • 27'
Quick action at both ends. Mexico's most underrated player Pablo Barrera makes a hard run through the midfield but the City defense is up tot he task. Yaya Toure heads tot he other end with a similar run and puts a shot on target. Real end to end stuff here around the half hour mark. There's Barrera with a blast from 25 off the mark.
  • 25'
David Silva with a nice little dive. He'll learn. In the EPL you can't go down from light contact.
  • 22'
Better here from West Ham. Stanislas has a go forcing a good save from Hart as the end result of a good move through the middle of the pitch.
  • 18'
The Hammers are struggling to clear their lines, but the American is doing incredibly well to pressure the ball in the middle and to win it for his team. That's three time on the hop, but West Ham can't string two passes together.
  • 17'
The last two trips down the pitch for City Spector has helped deal with the attack, but it's looking more and more like the Manchester outfit will take control of this match.
  • 14'
Stanislas bangs it over the top. He has to at least test Joe Hart's goal there.
  • 13'
Dangerous position here. West Ham draw a foul just outside the City box.
  • 11'
How about the rebirth of Jo for City? Most figured he was done with all of the strikers at City now. But here he is causing all sorts of problems for West Ham.
  • 10'
Spector draws a foul on one of his first touches of the game. Not really any trouble for City to deal with, but the American midfielder hasn't had much to do so far, so it was worth a mention.
  • 7'
City still pushing forward looking for the early lead, but West Ham look dangerous on the break, this has the makings of a very good match.
  • 4'
Ballotelli should have scored there. West Ham not playing poorly, but Jo set the Italian up with a touch in front of goal. He slid it just wide.
  • 1'
We're underway. West Ham in the claret and blue, Man City in the white strip. Jonathan Spector is once again in the middle of the pitch for the Hammers, but he'll have a big task today dealing with City's attacking power through the middle.
