Had no chance with Negredo's header and just shook his fists at the woeful defending for the second. Could have been off his line quicker for the third.
Could have helped out Tomkins but stayed wide instead of tucking in for the goal before tripping Taylor as he slid in to try and prevent Aguero scoring a second.
Shambolic stuff from the loan signing. Dragged out of position numerous times, missed tackles and was brushed off the ball too easily by Negredo.
Completely lost track of Negredo for the opener and found himself miles out of position for the second.
Did what he could from midfield. Always looked positive and carried the ball with purpose. Touch unlucky not to win a penalty in the second half but carried the Hammers' threat regardless. Looks ready for bigger things.
Thought he'd leveled matters just moments after West Ham fell behind but wandered offside. His clumsy style and a lack of service saw him stuck on the periphery of the match.
Has a habit of winning the ball and then getting caught in possession. Managed to lose an aerial duel with five foot nine inch Lopes, booked for the subsequent frustrated trip.
Played right back and looked unsure of himself from the off. Had two attempts to prevent the second goal but flopped on the floor rather embarrassingly before getting shrugged out of a challenge for the third.
Operated to the left of Carroll but seemed slow and lacked imagination. Subbed a minute into the second half with what looked like an injury.
Blazed a good chance high and wide when unmarked in the box. Keen to drive from the right flank and often found himself in positive positions but never delivered with the requisite quality to harm City. Stretchered off in the closing stages with a knee injury.
Always competitive and could have done better with a header powered over the bar. Comically sliced an offside chance well wide but otherwise did what he could in his 45 minutes.
Kicking was inconsistent but did well under the high ball, despite taking a full blooded whack from Carroll.
Probably had one of the harder jobs on the City team - Diame's runs from the flank had him on the back foot but the West Ham midfielder's final ball lacked quality.
Partnered Lescott and was composed in possession. Rarely troubled at the back, though he was beaten by Carlton Cole rather surprisingly. Otherwise a solid outing.
Had very little to do in the first half but fortunate to survive a penalty shout for what looked like a trip on Morrison.
Slotted in at right back and dominated Joe Cole. Took up advanced positions but not always used. Kept Downing quiet as well.
Whipped a peach of a delivery onto Negredo's head from the left. Tackled well and superbly opened the space for Aguero's goal, beating a succession of challenges. Looks a fantastic prospect.
Full of energy and exuded a sense of calm in the midfield. Not overly fussed about providing an attacking threat, just kept things ticking over for the visitors.
Gave City plenty of width but happy to roam inside and swap flanks. Didn't have a great deal of success in the final third and his game was summed up with a high strike into the stands when he should have scored. Subbed late for Kolarov.
Happy to sit in front of the defense and disrupt West Ham's probing. Also lucky to get away with a foul in the box on Morrison. Subbed on 63 minutes for Rodwell.
Gave Man City the best possible start by powering Lopez's cross beyond Jaaskelainen from eight yards out. Linked well with his midfield and thundered his way past Johnson and Taylor before clipping into the net for his second. Fell awkwardly in the late stages with a shoulder problem.
Lively throughout. Drew Jaaskelainen into a good low stop and a constant thorn in the West Ham defense before waltzing through two challenges and dinking over the Finn. Subbed for Jovetic.
