Saved brightly early on at his near post from Carroll but was fortunate to just get a touch on the ball for a wild challenge with Matt Jarvis. Bit wobbly under the high ball but luck was on his side and he kept a pleasing clean sheet.
Struggled against Jarvis from the outset and retreated to the point where he gave the winger too much space and time to find a cross. Injured his groin shepherding a ball out of play and replaced by Morrison.
A touch fortunate not to see his handball lead to a penalty when he was challenging with Carroll in the box. Otherwise, did a steady job at the back, restricting West Ham to the odd chance
Solid and dependable in the air up against the considerable challenge of Carroll. Perhaps could have done better with a first half header at the other end.
Made a wonderful covering block when it looked like Carroll would tap home and kept Downing at bay on his flank. Switched to the right after Reid went off injured and drew Adrian into a good low save.
Broke superbly in the 10th minute, driving at the West Ham defence and having the awareness to feed Amalfitano in the build-up to the opening goal. Was a constant menace and rarely picked up by Noble - possibly should have got his name on the scoresheet but was Albion's best player. Surprisingly subbed with 10 to play.
Worked hard for his team and delivered an inviting cross that Berahino just couldn't get to. Moved to left-back when Reid went off and stuck to his task admirably.
Combative display in midfield saw him at the heart of the action but he was occasionally lax in possession when a calm head was required.
Bit sloppy defensively but claimed an assist, if a tad fortunately, as his attempted shot at goal ended up as a low cross for Berahino. Faded as the game went on.
Showed good feet on the edge of the box before driving his left-footed shot wide. Had a free-kick comfortably held by Adrian and otherwise put in a shift in midfield
On hand to drive home the opener into the roof of the net for his 9th goal of the season and looked lively throughout. Should have made it 2-0 but trod on the ball as he tried to control the pass, before sidefooting straight at Adrian from close-range. That said, this was a bright performance and he received appropriate applause as he went off in the last minute.
Had no chance with West Brom's opener. Showed good hands otherwise but needs to dominate his area more. Made a fine stop from Sessegnon in the second half, as well as smart saves off Berahino and Jones.
Kept things tight on the right flank and got forward when he could. That said, final ball wasn't good enough - making it slightly odd that he was pushed forward as a midfielder in the closing stages.
Another who was left too exposed for the opening goal. Sessegnon and Berahino caused the New Zealander problems. Not his best game.
Played 33 minutes before getting injured and trotting off for Collins. Was badly exposed for the West Brom goal.
Found out of position for the opener and couldn't drive Amalfitano back. Much less of a threat than Armero but did improve as the game wore on.
Found it tough going against Jones and rarely got into positions to deliver a telling ball. Never got into the game and was replaced on 67 minutes.
Wasteful in possession despite a couple of promising driving runs. Seemed to grow disheartened and rarely troubled West Brom in the second half.
Tried to link up with Carroll but struggled to meet his nod-downs and when he doesn't do this, he struggles to impact games.
Applied his usual work ethic but was occasionally overrun on the break and consequently made mistakes. Was lucky not to get punished when he lost the ball in his own half to Sessegnon. Won't be pleased with his performance.
Got at his full-back well and unlucky not to pick up an assist with a fine low cross into the six-yard box. Constantly caused West Brom problems and was by far his side's most creative outlet. Weird, then, that he was replaced by Carlton Cole with 15 minutes to play.
Good early chance that was repelled by Foster. A toe away from Jarvis's excellent cross but put in a similar display to the one at Arsenal. More or less faded but should have scored as his free header cannoned back off the bar.
Came on for Tomkins and put in an important block on Sessegnon as well as another from Berahino in the second 45. Kept West Ham in the game with his defensive effort. Booked in the final moments.
Second half substitute for Downing and looked lively, roaming where he was needed and putting in one particularly strong tackle on Mulumbu.
