Saved efforts from Willian and Eto'o well. Definitely in contention for a World Cup spot but was helpless for Chelsea's goal.
Was tested many times by the away side and responded well apart from a momentary lapse that lead to the Chelsea goal. Had a few headed opportunities from corners too but they were well wide.
An awful day at the office for the defender. Was bypassed countless amount of times by Willian and not one of his passes reached a blue and white shirt.
Was sometimes out of the game when Chelsea ran rings around him. Got forward well and linked up with Berahino excellently.
He kept up with play well and was able to marshal Hazard's threat easily at times. Couldn't be held responsible for the goal.
A very poor game for the experienced French winger. Not one of his dribbles down the line was productive and he neglected all defensive duties. Subbed for Anichebe.
Provided plenty of energy in the midfield and played a few through balls to the attack. Was weak in defense, however, but not a bad performance from the fans favorite.
Not the best day for the usually trustworthy midfielder. Was outclassed in midfield by Matic and Ramires in that department. Subbed for Mulumbu.
Played a good captain's role in attack and defense. Put in a few good crosses from corners and from open play but they weren't converted. Very solid against Chelsea's attacking threat though.
A very good home debut for the January signing. His pace and strength were a nightmare at times for David Luiz. His best chance was only lashed across goal when it seemed easier to score.
Was brilliant for the Baggies all game long. Provided an inch-perfect cross for Anichebe's goal.
Was rarely threatened in the Chelsea goal and could do nothing about the West Brom goal. Looked solid when called upon though.
Most important contribution to the match was to score. Looked solid throughout and the only thing to ruin his game was an argument with referee Howard Webb that he was booked for.
Was strong throughout and carried on despite playing with what seemed like an injury for the last 20 minutes. Was beaten in height and strength for Anichebe's goal but overall was solid.
Was rarely challenged during the match and looked solid when called upon. His best effort on goal was a free kick that he ballooned over the crossbar.
Another Chelsea player who was rarely tested today. The only significant task was Vydra's pace, which he seemed second best to.
A good display from the young Brazilian. Ran Ridgewell ragged, put in the corner leading to Ivanovic’s goal and had a few attempts himself. Was harshly booked for a clash with the left back.
A normal routine for the Brazilian midfielder. Didn’t threaten the goal much but offered Willian and Hazard something in midfield. Subbed for John Obi Mikel.
Didn't repeat his recent form tonight. Looked lost but also dangerous at times but definitely could have been a lot more dangerous on some occasions.
Was rarely called upon in his role as a holding midfielder. Swept up nicely and looked solid. A very good re-aquisition for Mourinho.
Didn't really get into the game and was substituted for Salah.
A constant thorn in the side of the West Brom defense. Used his pace effectively against the sluggish Albion back line and created a few half-chances but nothing more. Didn’t really have much to do all game long. Subbed for Torres.
Replaced Yacob when he was getting tired and looked a lot more lively in that department. Got forward well and put in a few crucial challenges.
Very lively up front when he came on for Thievy. His strength was a huge problem for the away side and got just enough contact on the ball to glide it past Cech to equalize.
Provided plenty of energy and running up front. Despite not being the strongest he was very agile against Azpilicueta and looked dangerous at times.
J. Obi Mikel
Brought on for Oscar and didn't have much to do in the late stages of the game but defend, which he did well.
Brought on as an attacking option just as Chelsea started defending. A quiet day at the office for the new signing yet to make an impact.
Was very busy when the ball was at his end of the pitch.
