Could do little about Wilshere's thunderbolt from distance, but he got down low well to deny Giroud from close range.
Gave his side great width going forward which in turn allowed Berahino to get so much of the ball. Looked flaky in defense at times and didn't do enough to stop balls into the box.
Nearly trod on the ball and collided with his own player in the early stages yet won most aerial battles with Giroud and made timely tackles. Still looked a little error prone, but an improved performance.
He looked at ease in the first half, standing up strong to Wilshere when he drifted inside and not giving him much room.
Tried a number of long balls down the line but with just Anelka to aim for they often came to nothing.
Strong and assured on the ball when in tight situations but seemed frustrated by his teammates on a few occasions. Challenged Wilshere in the box with a sliding tackle as he got a touch of the ball, but seen them go against some players.
Ever-present in the final third and at the heart of most of the Baggies' creative moves going forward. Unlucky not to get on the scoresheet as his play merited it in the first half, but was replaced in the second.
Didn't hog the right wing as much as he did in his sensational performance in their last home game. Fired in numerous crosses into the box and eventually saw one find the net off Yacob. Replaced as he left the pitch with a knock.
Strolled into the box unmarked to put his side ahead with his first ever goal at the club, making his first real impression on the game after one or two clumsy challenges.
Chased some half-hearted balls down the line and dropped in deep at times but missed a guilt-edged chance just yards out after he couldn't adjust his feet. Narrowly missed the post with a shot minutes later but grew into the game.
Real bright performance as he made his first league start. He made strong runs and hit several decent attempts on goal, coming close with a deflected effort and setting up Anelka for a tap-in after breaking in his own half.
A deflected effort from Berahino in the first half had him fumbling across his goal. Did well to push a stinging shot from Jones away from goal in the second.
Dived into a few challenges when he should have stayed on his feet then seemed to be unaware of Yacob's presence in the box for the opening goal.
Looked slow at times and the pace of Berahino gave him troubles down the left-hand side.
The 21-year-old slipped in at right back with Bacary Sagna out injured. He made some strong runs forward but was caught out in possession and Berahino evaded him one too many times.
Only had one man at a time to deal with up front but the interchanging of Sessegnon and Anelka - forming a strong partnership already - caused problems at times.
Helped keep the flow of the game for the visitors early on but placed a nasty challenge on Amalifitano to earn the game's first booking.
Read the game well making some smart interceptions and dropping the ball off deep, whilst also providing breaks from midfield. Eventually replaced in the second half.
Looked weak at times out on the left and didn't offer enough width. Poor first half but got his side back into the game from nowhere with a stunning drive from distance and could have scored the winner had it not been for a late Mulumbu tackle.
Not as sharp as he has been since joining on deadline day and wasn't direct enough to make an impact in the first half. Better performance in the second and started the move for the equalizer.
Matched for strength by Olsson at the back but managed to get a strong shot on goal in the first half. Forced a fine save from Myhill in the second but could have perhaps hit it earlier instead of taking a touch.
Came on for Amalifitano with not long left in the game.
Replaced Sessegnon in the second half but didn't have long enough to make an impact.
Entered the fray in place of Anelka when the score was level and immediately thrust into action with a clumsy aerial challenge on Jenkinson. Nearly threaded a fine ball over the top for Berahino.
Introduced into the game in the second half in place of Ramsey when his side weren't showing enough in the attacking third and they looked better off for it. Made an instant impact with a neat lay-off for Wilshere's leveler.
He came on as the game neared it's conclusions to chants of 'Super Nicklas Bendtner'. He didn't have an opportunity to repay those fans however.
