The Whitecaps are trying to remain perfect at home this season, while Colorado will be looking to get over a late collapse at Sporting KC last week.
The Colorado Rapids will have their chance on Saturday night in a Western Conference clash between two teams boasting young, exciting players.
Under new coach Carl Robinson, the Whitecaps have played an attractive attacking style highlighted by the talent of DP playmaker Pedro Morales. Vancouver is historically good at home, and so far this year the 'Caps have also been able to grind out points on the road to become one of just four teams still undefeated in MLS.
Colorado has had less success out of the gate, but at 1-1-1 the Rapids have still shown some of the form that allowed them to sneak into the playoffs last year. They will need to be firing on all cylinders in order to topple Vancouver, and the Rapids will also be aiming to erase the bad taste of a last-minute loss to Sporting Kansas City last week.
The match kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET.
