Had little to do in the first half, only having to take a few goal kicks. In the second, he could do little on Sanchez's goal but made a couple vital saves towards the end to earn the draw.
May have saved a goal with his fantastic tackle in the box on Jimenez, catching up to the midfielder with speed to stop a close-range shot.
A secure performance at the back. Didn't make any mistakes, but he wasn't spectacular.
The Porto midfielder showed quality timing when deciding to join the attack, evident from his goal, which he took with ease. Also did well to get back and help out in defense and frustrating the Chilean attackers.
Hard to notice him on the pitch other than a few clearances and passes down the heart of the field. Not his best game.
The former Sao Paolo star could have opened the scoring in the opening minutes off of Forlan's cross, but the defender could not get a quality touch on the ball. At the back, he was solid as always, shutting Suazo down with great positioning.
Was his normal, tough and rugged self. Did well to use his strong body to contain possession and also had fantastic timing with his tackles. However, he was sloppy with passing at times, turning the ball over with a lack of precision.
The Liverpool star should have done better with his opportunity in the first half. He didn't even make the goalkeeper work to save it, sending it towards the stands. But, was the reason why Uruguay scored as he teed up Pereira alone in the box. Almost found the net in the second half with a solid shot.
Did well to send Suarez through on his chance in the first half. Did not come back on in the second half.
The Golden Ball winner at last year's World Cup didn't do much in the game. Couldn't get himself into good positions in front of goal but was solid in his passing with Suarez.
The Real Sociedad goalkeeper did well to stop Suarez's shot in the second half. He could do little to keep out the goal as his defense failed him.
The Sevilla destroyer imposed his physicality with numerous crunching tackles but made a mistake by not recovering well on Uruguay's goal as he was caught ball-watching.
Didn't provide the best delivery from wide, but fantastic in the middle with his ball to Jimenez. Solid performance.
Didn't have the easiest responsibility going up against Uruguay's potent attack, but held his own. Was beaten a couple times, but made up for it by linking up with the attack with classy passes before being eventually substituted.
The Cruz Azul defender was careful with the ball, connecting well with the midfield down the right side.
Good and bad. Was positioned well on Forlan's free-kick to clear the rebound, but nearly cost his team dearly with a terrible play in the box. He did recover, though, to stop Forlan's header on the line.
Had a decent look-in on goal before halftime, sending a shot just by the right post from the left side of the box. Made up for it with his pass to Sanchez to set up the goal.
Saw a powerful shot in the first half fly by the post. His switch to defense was key to Chile clicking in the second half.
Will rue his missed chance in the box, taking too long to get the shot in before Careces halted him. Showed nothing else.
Difficult to notice he was even on the pitch in the opening half, checking to the ball on a couple occasions to get a touch. Was subbed off in the second half.
The dynamic attacker showed fantastic movement during the game, latching on to the ball no matter where it was. Found the space well for his goal to level the game with a clinical finish.
