  • 65'
Still a lot of control from the USA, but there is no final ball, and in all honesty the chances aren't coming.
  • 61'
Best chance of the game for Panama. Ball in from the left skips across the face of goal and is just missed.
  • 60'
Another ball in from Cherundolo down the right. The USA will have to get more, and better, service if this is to be the gameplan.
  • 58'
A break there down the left from Lichaj. Crosses just haven't found the mark yet.
  • 54'
Still not much going on. Neither side has had any real grasp of the match since the break.
  • 49'
Slow start to the half for the USA. Panama created just about its best chance of the match with an early cross. Landon Donovan in for the USA, hasn't had a touch yet.
  • 46'
    Substitution Sacha Kljestan Landon Donovan
  • 46'
Teams back on the field and we're moments from the second half kick.
  • Pretty tame first half. 0-0 on the scoreline. If you're picking, the USA has been the better side, but it hasn't produced results yet.
  • 43'
Panama has been better for the last few minutes. More possession and finally some rest for its defenders.
  • 40'
Panama back down at the USA's end now. Won a corner, but the USA's back line has looked well organized throughout.
  • 36'
    Yellow Card Luis Alfonso Henriquez

  • 21'
The USA has been well in control here. Panama is struggling to get touches, and the USA is starting to open up some lanes throughout the pitch.
  • 18'

First shot of the game for Panama drifts well wide to Howard's left post.
  • 7'
USA content to hold the ball at the back and look for a breakthrough. A couple of times it's been just off, but Panama has been pushed back for a few minutes now.
  • 4'
Good start to the match. Pace is nice so far with both teams having a few quality touches.
  • 2'
Panama on the ball early, looking to hold possession, USA wins it back and now wins a corner.
  • 1'
    And we're off
  • Just minutes away from what should be the opening kick, but it's looking more like a 6:10 or so local kick than a 6:00 local kick.
  • Allen Ramsey here at Reliant Stadium in Houston Texas, getting set to bring you live commentary of the USA and Panama in the first of two semifinals tonight. The USA will come out with only one change from the side that topped Jamaica, with Juan Agudelo stepping in for the injured Jozy Altidore. That means Landon Donovan will once again be on the bench to start the match, which is really the big story from the USA's point of view. On the Panama side of things, the story is Blaz Perez not being available. Perez caused the USA all sorts of problems in the first match and his absence leaves a big gap to fill.
