S. Giovinco 16'
I'm Alex Moretto and I'd like to thank you all for joining me here today at the Stadio Friuli. I hope you enjoyed the action as much as I did! Good bye.
FULL-TIME: UDINESE 0-2 JUVENTUS. It's another step closer to the title for Antonio Conte's team, as they extend their lead to eight points atop the table.
90' + 3'
That's it! The full-time whistle sounds and Juventus tie a club record with their 28th victory of the season!
90' + 2'
MURIEL! Oh my, what an incredible run by the forward. He gets behind the defence, but just scuffs his shot, sending it off the post. Cleaner contact would have seen that one into the back of the net. And technically, still not a shot on target for Udinese.
90' + 1'
Extremely vocal on the sidelines is Antonio Conte. Despite this 2-0 lead and his team's excellent performance, he's coaching like this is a Cup final. STILL!
Three minutes to be added on here...
DOMIZZI! Well the game has suddenly opened up at the moment. Great run by the defender who gets forward and takes a pass, beating Caceres but firing just wide from close range! Still no shot on target for the hosts.
OSVALDO! Minutes after coming on the forward is sent in behind the defence, with no one but the keeper to beat from 40 yards out. Shockingly, however, he can't take the pass properly as it bounces off his heel and prevents him from taking the chance.
Final substitution made now by Juventus as Pablo Osvaldo comes on for the other goalscorer, Fernando Llorente.
Udinese enjoying a bit of possession at the moment, but still have yet to manage their first shot on target. The visitors are so positionally strong in defence, never having to go out of their way to intercept a pass or sniff out an attack.
After a bit of a lengthy delay, Giovinco is forced to be subbed off to a load ovation from the traveling fans for the fantastic performance he put in tonight.
Ogbonna wins a free kick after a tussle in the box with Nico Lopez. Buffon is forced to wait to take this goal kick as Giovinco goes down with what appears to be a cramp.
Antonio Di Natale
Another substitution now, as the match slows to a snails pace. Antonio Di Natale gives way to Nico Lopez, and hands off his captain's armband to Bruno Fernandes, a nice gesture from the 36-year-old who got quite upset with the midfielder earlier in the match.
STAT ATTACK: Nicola Rizzoli has refereed three Juventus games this season, issuing a staggering 19 yellow cards and two straight reds.
Yellow Card Stephan Lichtsteiner
Juventus making a change of their own now as Lichtsteiner comes off for Isla. The Swiss man is very vocal about having to come off. Pogba comes over to talk to him and just encourage him a bit. He's shown a yellow, however, as he takes his sweet time leaving the pitch.
Patience, patience, patience from Juventus. They work it forward so well, but decide they don't like what they see, and retreat they do, passing it as far back as the defenders just ensuring they keep possession.
Finally a change from Udinese, although at this point it may be too late. It is a tactical change from Guidolin who brings on striker Luis Muriel for midfielder Hassan Yebda.
OFF THE POST! Chiellini sees everyone part in front of him and charges forward with a Jaap Stam-esque run forward. He gets inside the box and lays it off for Giovinco. The forward cuts to his right and curls his effort past Scuffet, but it's off the far post and just barely cleared!
Juventus memorizing everyone with their passing, perhaps just lulling Udinese to sleep for a brief moment as Giovinco finds an opening and charges into the box. He beats Domizzi, but his cross is just over the head of Llorente. Close to a third goal for the visitors.
STAT ATTACK: Udinese have scored 49 percent of their league goals this season in the 60th minute and onwards.
Udinese are no longer trying to find a way back into this game, but are just looking for a way to win back the ball at the moment. Juventus, having led so often this season, are expertly defending this two goal advantage. Everyone seeing the the ball for the visitors at the moment.
Yellow Card Thomas Heurtaux
Giovinco makes an incredible run in midfield, shifting his way around a number of defenders before Heurtaux takes him down and earns himself a yellow card.
The pace is just starting to come out of the match now, with Juventus content on keeping play in the middle third. They're keeping possession well, and Udinese look to be slowly losing hope at what would be an improbable comeback.
Wasted opportunity for Udinese, who are still without their first shot on goal. Udinese tries to curl a shot around the wall, with the help of Bruno Fernandes who pushes Ogbonna to try and create some extra space. The foul is called and nothing comes of the free kick.
Ogbanna is finally shown a yellow card. He's been in on a number of tackles so far, and it was really coming. Di Natale goes down hard, and Udinese have a free kick from 25 yards out, directly in the centre of the pitch.
Yellow Card Angelo Ogbonna
STAT ATTACK: Barring an impressive comeback, Udinese's six match unbeaten run at the Stadio Friuli in all competitions will come to an end today.
Llorente sent in as he gets behind the defence, but it's called back on an offside. Udinese take the free kick quickly, but again give the ball away as they push up the pitch. There's been little quality in attack for them so far, and you just wonder how long it will be before Guidolin makes a change.
Some nice build-up play by Juventus, as they string a number of passes together to break into the box. Marchisio is on the end of it, but can't pick out a final ball. It's cleared only as far as Pogba who tries to send a ball over the top for Marchisio, but Scuffet gets there first to collect.
Early foul conceded by Ogbonna who has been a physical presence at the back. Di Natale whips the ensuing free kick into a dangerous area, but Lichtsteiner gets his head to it and makes an important clearance.
Udinese kick us off in the second half, with plenty of work to do as they look to erase a 2-0 deficit. They couldn't muster a single shot on target in the first half, so we'll see what adjustments they've made at the break.
STAT ATTACK: Juventus have kept six clean sheets in their past seven away fixtures in all competitions.
HALF-TIME: UDINESE 0-2 JUVENTUS. The visitors put in a great first half performance. They haven't enjoyed as much possession as they are used too, but have been clinical in attack, and have yet to put a foot wrong at the back. The hosts have their work cut out for them, but don't look like solving this Juventus defence at the moment.
That's it for the first half! No added time says referee Nicola Rizzoli, as he sounds his whistle to bring the first 45 minutes to a close.
Another giveaway in midfield, this time by Marchisio. Udinese push forward through Pereyra. The Argentine passes it off to Di Natale, but he goes down easily inside the box in search of a penalty, after a poor first touch. Nothing is given, however, and another Udinese attack fizzles out.
Kwadwo Asamoah gives the ball away in midfield, allowing Udinese to break on a quick counter. Fernandes passes it off to Pereyra, but again the hosts are far too slow in their approach allowing Juventus to get men back behind the ball, and Udinese are forced to retreat.
Great stuff at the other end now as Di Natale takes a wonderful touch and lofts a ball over the top for Basta. Chiellini just gets there in time and boots the ball out of play to sniff out the danger. Much more encouraging from the hosts, but they still can't beat that last line of defence.
Andrea Pirlo sends Sebastian Giovinco in on goal, but the speedy striker is defended brilliantly by Heurteaux, who stays with him and slides in to block the shot. Juventus do, however, win yet another free kick.
Juventus working so well together in defence. Udinese are enjoying long spells on the ball, but the visitors are giving them nothing in the final third. There's no space for a shot, and every run is being tracked to perfection. The hosts will have to find a way through here if they are to have any hope of a comeback.
STAT ATTACK: Udinese have only won one match at home this season in which they have failed to keep a clean sheet.
Lovely dummy by Pogba to get Lichtsteiner the ball in space on the right. The two players work a give and go and the Swiss midfielder has a go at goal. The shot takes a deflection and rolls behind for another corner.
Some scene on the Juventus sidelines after that goal. Emphatic celebrations from both coaches and players alike. They know how much that goal means to them. A win extends their lead at the top of the table to eight points with just five matches remaining.
Goal Fernando Llorente
GOOOOOOOAAAL! Pirlo tries to pick out Marchisio who can't make clean contact on the shot. It rolls to Llorente at the far post with his goal at the mercy, and he makes no mistake, doubling Juventus' lead.
Pirlo finds some space in midfield, with options to either side. He opts to try and make one of the more difficult passes, and can't pick out Giovinco. Hertaux gets to it first and puts it behind for a corner.
Di Natale looks a bit shaken up top, still upset over the missed opportunity seconds before Juventus' opening goal. Udinese are passing it around well in midfield, but it's all falling apart in the final third at the moment.
Giovinco, flowing with confidence from his opening goal, takes a pass from Llorente and decides to have another shot at goal from 25 yards out. This time it deflects high into the air and into the waiting arms of Scuffet.
STAT ATTACK: Udinese have not won a match this season after conceding the first goal (3D, 14L).
Yellow Card Leonardo Bonucci
Bonucci is shown a yellow card now for his participation in the goal celebrations from the bench.
Assist Paul Pogba
Goal Sebastian Giovinco
GOOOOOOOOAAAL! Stunning strike from Sebastian Giovinco! The tiny forward takes a pass inside the box with his back to goal. He beats Domizzi far too easily and curls a left footed shot just inside the far post, past a helpless Scuffet.
Di Natale absolutely livid! Udinese break on a counter with just two Juventus defenders back. The striker makes an excellent run but Fernandes waits far too long to pass it off and the attack fizzles out.
Pogba sends an excellent ball into the box for Giovinco, but the small forward loses the aerial battle to Hertaux. Again the visitors push forward and this time Llorente is the target for Lichtsteiner's ball, but it's just over the Spaniard's head and Udinese can clear.
The hosts are doing an excellent job of earning their share of possession, but can't yet solve the always stingy Juventus defence. On the other end of the pitch, Giovinco looks to be taking a very direct approach when on the ball, but is being dealt with well for the time being by Hertaux and Domizzi.
Udinese spread the ball around well as they break inside the box. It falls for Basta along the right, and he beats Chiellini but tries to cut it back for Fernandes as opposed to having a shot. He would have been better off being more selfish there and testing Buffon from in close.
Ogbonna again at the centre of proceedings here as he chases down a long ball alongside Antonio Di Natale. He pulls back the shirt of the striker, but isn't blown for a foul much to the dismay of the 36-year-old.
Angelo Ogbonna concedes the first foul of the match with a hard tackle on Bruno Fernandes. The hosts with an excellent opportunity from the ensuing free kick from about 25 yards out, but Antonio Di Natale bends his effort over the bar.
Juventus start with some possession but struggle to move the ball up the pitch. First Lichtsteiner's long ball is sent out of play, before Giovinco's run results in a goal kick. The table toppers are, however, doing a good job of winning the ball back in midfield.
Juventus kick off and we're underway at the Stadio Friuli! The visitors are wearing their yellow tops and blue shorts, moving left to right, while Udinese sport their black and white stripes.
STAT ATTACK: Juventus have won four straight matches against Udinese, and are unbeaten in their last three trips to the Stadio Friuli, winning 4-0 and 4-1, and drawing 0-0.
Francesco Guidolin has made four changes to his starting XI. Luis Muriel gives way to Antonio Di Natale as he makes his return from injury, while Igor Bubnjic, Silvan Widmer and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu are replaced by Maurizio Domizzi, Dusan Basta and Hassan Yebda.
UDINESE SUBS: Brkic, Naldo, Bubnjic, Muriel, Mlinar, Lopez, Widmer, Pinzi, Maicosuel, Zielinski.
UDINESE XI (3-5-1-1): Scuffet; Hertaux, Danilo, Domizzi; Basta, Yebda, Allan, Pereyra, Gabriel Silva; Bruno Fernandes; Di Natale.
There are no new injuries or suspension to note for the Old Lady. Antonio Conte has still elected to make two changes to his team that beat Livorno a week ago, with Leonardo Bonucci and Carlos Tevez getting some rest, being replaced by Angelo Ogbonna and Sebastian Giovinco.
JUVENTUS SUBS: Vucinic, Tevez, Peluso, Osvaldo, Bonucci, Padoin, Vidal, Quagliarella, Storari, Isla, Rubinho.
JUVENTUS XI (3-5-2): Buffon; Chiellini, Ogbonna, Caceres; Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Llorente, Giovinco.
The teams have been announced, so let us have ourselves a look at today's starting line-ups:
Udinese are on pace for a 14th place finish this season, their worst since 2009/10. They are safe from relegation with six matches remaining, but a top 10 finish also appears to be out of their reach. Last year the Zebrette finished the season with eight consecutive wins. A similar streak to end this campaign would help bring some promise to the fans as for what they can hope to expect from next season.
A seventh consecutive victory for Roma on Saturday has kept the pressure on Juventus at the top of the table. Antonio Conte's men sit just five points clear at the top with six matches remaining, and will need three points this evening to give themselves some breathing room. A victory will be far from straightforward, however, as they take on a dangerous Udinese team entering the match on a seven game unbeaten run at home across all competitions.
Good evening Serie A fans around the world, and welcome to today's match between table toppers Juventus and a streaking Udinese team at the Stadio Friuli. I'm Alex Moretto and I'll be your in-game host, guiding you through the match LIVE as it happens!
