Has enjoyed a terrific season for the Champagne outfit and showed why he is so highly rated with fine first-half stops from Gameiro and Lucas. A huge presence in the ESTAC goal.
Had very strong claims for a penalty waved away in the opening 10 minutes and was a willing attacking threat from the left back role throughout this encounter. A very impressive performer in a defensive fashion, too.
Has been noted for a lack of concentration at times this season but he was reliable on this occasion. Simply did his job in a quiet no-nonsense fashion and contained the PSG forwards well.
Produced a stoical performance and PSG got little change out of the right back, who has been used in a more adventurous role in recent weeks prior to this game. Beaten only once - but it lead to the goal. Rarely showed his offensive prowess.
Troyes’ most reliable defender, he used all his experience to cope well with the threat of Gameiro. Teamed up well with Jarjat to produce a solid central defensive showing.
Unlucky not to score in the eighth minute as he sent a shot against the upright but this would be the highlight of the midfielder’s match. Linked well with those around him when given the chance.
A strong performer in the first half for the home side but his influence faded in the second as PSG started to dictate matters.
The young midfielder produced a steady game in the heart of the Troyes midfield, where he was deployed in a holding position. Restricted the influence of PSG’s attackers around the box well but faded badly in the second period.
Dictated the game for Troyes in the center of the field and showed some nice vision to release Darbion in the early stages. Had several more moments like this and he was unlucky not to mastermind a goal. A fine performance from the veteran. Went off 20 minutes from time.
The winger had a productive game out wide as he regularly threatened the PSG defense. Drew a fine save from Sirigu midway through the first half and then again right at the death.
Only started because of injury to Corentin Jean and suspension to Jean-Christophe Bahebeck, yet he equipped himself well and unsettled the PSG rearguard with his physical style. A powerful first-half drive required much saving.
Might have expected a quiet afternoon against Ligue 1’s bottom side yet he was forced to make a string of stops, all of which he performed with a degree of serenity. Did well to stay alert to deny Camus on the 90-minute mark.
Although PSG conceded many shots, there was little the center back could have done to prevent such a hail of opportunities. In his duel with Marcos he came out on top. Continues to bring great assurance to his side’s rearguard.
Made a couple of vital interceptions as Troyes threatened to get in behind down the flanks. A steady performance overall from the France international, who did not try to overdo things when in possession.
G. van der Wiel
Fails to convince defensively on a regular basis and once again struggled. A miscued first-half clearance led to one of Troyes’ big opportunities. Going forward he was a pacey threat as he overlapped willingly and directly, and it was he who supplied a fine cross for Matuidi’s goal.
Struggled to contain the home side, which made good progress down his flank. Was also beaten as Camus threatened greatly midway through the opening half. Looked far more assured after the break.
The young midfielder performed well against Barcelona in midweek and showed his class early on when he released Gameiro with a fine first-time pass. Lacked the concentration he showed at Camp Nou and gifted possession away cheaply on occasion, while some of his defensive work was suspect.
Broke into the box to score the opening goal against his former club midway through the second half. Did an important sweeping job in the midfield as PSG was exposed down the wings, though he might have wanted to more influential in preventing Nivet and Camus mustering so many efforts on goal.
Still waiting on his first goal since signing for the club but continues to threaten in. Denied only by a fine Thuram save in the opening period. Another lively showing before fading out of the game in the second period.
Regained credibility thanks to a strong performance in Barcelona, yet the Argentine was largely anonymous in this encounter against the French top flight’s bottom side. Did come into the game more late on and drew a good save from Thuram.
A typically busy showing from the Argentine forward but for all his endeavor there was little quality about his finished product. Not his best performance but his effort cannot be forward.
Replaced the suspended Ibrahimovic but missed a third-minute chance when through on goal. Was given no other service and was replaced just after the hour mark.
