Toronto FC had a two-goal advantage at halftime but as so often has been the case this season, failed to hold on for the full three points.

The Montreal Impact struck twice within a two minute span in the second half to earn a comeback 3-3 draw against Toronto FC at BMO Field.

The visitors stunned TFC with a goal just 23 seconds in. A long bouncing ball was misplayed by Darren O'Dea, whose header didn't reach his goalkeeper Joe Bendik. Andrés Romero clipped the ball over the onrushing Bendik, and got his body around the ball to drive home into the far post.

TFC had an instant response, however, and was level six minutes later. Bobby Convey found Jeremy Brockie in the box, and the New Zealand international took a touch to his left before burying a shot into the roof of the net for his first MLS goal.

Brockie turned provider in the 21st minute, as his pinpoint cross found Steven Caldwell inside the six-yard box, and the Scottish defender was left with a simple header to give the home side a 2-1 advantage.

Incredibly, the goals kept coming and just three minutes later, O'Dea atoned for his earlier error with a goal. The center back played a one-two with Luis Silva and his driving run into the box culminated with a well-placed low drive into the far corner to make it 3-1.

Montreal pulled one back with 20 minutes to play when the TFC defense failed to deal with a floated ball into the box, and Hassoun Camara was on hand to turn home. Almost inevitably, the visitors instantly grabbed an equalizer, as Felipe found Marco Di Vaio for a one-touch finish just in front of Bendik.
