The second place teams from each conference will square off Saturday in Kansas City as Real Salt Lake heads to Sporting Park.
Sporting took home the title in that match, and RSL will likely be out for a bit of revenge, especially with the knowledge that SKC isn't at its best so far this campaign.
While the club sits second in the Eastern Conference on seven points from four games, the return of 1.75 points-per-game is actually fourth, with both Houston and Toronto holding a game in hand and trailing in the table by just one point.
RSL, with eight points from four games, is behind only streaking FC Dallas in the West, and unlike SKC isn't giving up a game in hand to any of its immediate rivals for that position. Real is, however, tied on points with Vancouver, but coming off a 3-0 thrashing of Toronto FC will feel confident of being able to take points off another of the league's top teams this weekend.
