The bottom two teams in the Western Conference go head to head on Wednesday night.A win and a draw in the club's last two outings has Chivas looking to climb out of the basement in the Western Conference when the Goats travel to San Jose to take on an Earthquakes team that has just two wins in five league matches.
The Earthquakes can look forward to the return of Chris Wondolowski in the near future after the USA was bounced from the World Cup on Tuesday, but that will not help on Wednesday, when they will have to find a way to turn around a scoring record that includes just five goals in five league matches, and no goals in the last two.

For Chivas USA, the goals have almost all come through Erick Torres, who has scored 10 of the 15 his club has in the league this season. Torres needs some help from other places, and that may come in the form of former Seattle Sounder Mauro Rosales, who has five assists this year and looks primed to find his best form in the coming weeks.
The loser in this match will occupy the bottom spot in the Western Conference, with Chivas USA just one point back of San Jose having played a game more.
