Pulled off a couple of decent saves to deny Barcelona. Organized his defense well and did superbly on set-pieces. Had no chance for the goal.
Was bypassed rather easily in the build-up to Thiago's goal, but generally did well. Compensated for his deficiencies in pace with good positioning, and assisted the equalizer.
Fairly stable at the back and rarely gave anything away. Distributed the ball well and showed decent marking.
Found the right balance between attack and defense. He was rarely troubled at the back, giving him the opportunity to bomb forward which he did well.
Proved to be more than a match for Barcelona's star-studded midfield as he ran and tackled all night. His passing was very good and his vision was top-notch.
Showed slick technique and passing, and kept his nerve to convert the late penalty, albeit it wasn't the most convincing spotkick. Showed some good touches and dribbles.
Had a fairly anonymous game before being substituted. Nothing he tried came off and was surprising to see him get 89 minutes under his belt.
Had a fine game alongside Aranburu in the center of the pitch. Showed decent work rate, and made a vital contribution in defense.
The young sensation often steals the show, but today this was not the case. Showed a few decent touches, but his final product was a bit lacking.

The youngster was unfortunate to pick up an injury and had to be replaced.

The midfield maestro did not have the game of his life as Real Sociedad were leaving little space for him to thread his trademark through-balls. Still, he tried to lead by example, and looked dangerous going forward.
Netted the opener with a delightful chip, but offered very little besides that in the first half. Showed good technique and passing, however.
Looked isolated, and nowhere as good as he was in his substitute's appearance against Real Madrid in midweek. Wasted a couple of good chances up front.
Covered a lot of ground in the center of the pitch, and showed great tackling. His passing was not that good, however.
