Real Salt Lake 0-0 FC Dallas: RSL remains unbeaten with stalemate

Real Salt Lake dominated much of the game, but couldn't find a way to break down FC Dallas.

Real Salt Lake tied the Major League Soccer record for longest unbeaten start to a Major League Soccer campaign with a 0-0 draw against FC Dallas.

RSL has now enjoyed a dozen games from the start of the 2014 MLS season without experiencing defeat, and rookie coach Jeff Cassar holds the enviable accomplishment of having never lost a match.

Salt Lake dictated much of the game, but dangerous Dallas was no pushovers, forcing three saves from backup goalkeeper Jeff Attinella.

RSL's record goes to 6-0-6 on the season, and the Claret-and-Cobalt sit second in both the Western Conference and the Supporters' Shield race. Dallas, now winless in seven straight games, is clinging to fourth place with a 5-6-3 record.
