Barely had anything to deal with all night but when called into action he was solid between the sticks. Easily collected a couple of long-range strikes into his body and his distribution was good.
Looked incredibly hungry for a goal since the game kicked off as he was up and down the park all night getting into goalscoring positions. Finally got on the scoresheet with a bullet header in the second half, and was also a rock at the back.
Was dominant aerially and headed just about every cross into the box away from danger. Displayed an impressive turn of pace when retreating and is improving all the time in possession.
Did show flashes of his marauding best down that left-hand side and got beyond Damia at right-back a few times to get some decent balls into the box. Tested Andres in goal with a powerful strike towards the left corner which was saved.
Kept De las Cuevas at bay by vigilantly keeping at his back and not allowing the turn in behind. Made a few lapses in judgement going forward but enjoyed his run out from the start.
Was box-to-box all night and proved himself to be a valuable asset defensively as well as in attack. Helped the defence out continuously by making up the ground to break up counterattacks but also nearly got on the scorsheet himself with a rasper of a shot towards the top corner that went just wide.
Was constantly looking for the ball and ventured all over the park to take the ball off team-mates before quickly spinning to drive towards goal. Popped up in dangerous positions all night assisted the fourth with a lovely chipped pass to Carvajal.
Is improving with every match he plays as his performance had shades of Xabi Alonso. Recycled possession excellently throughout the night but when space opened he showed he has it in his locker to fizz an incisive pass through the middle.
Á. di María
Set up the opening goal with a precision diagonal pass out to the left wing for Ronaldo and got in between the lines of Osasuna's defence and midfield regularly. Grabbed another assist in the second half when he found Sergio Ramos inside the box with a great cross.
Set the tone for his performance in the first minute when he hustled and harried the Osasuna defence into scrambling the ball behind for a goal kick. Flashed a couple of shots wide of the mark but was definitely a nuisance inside the box.
Opened the scoring in the first half with an absolutely stunning, dipping strike into the top right corner after cutting in from the left wing. Somehow topped the first goal a few minutes into the second half when he drilled a wonder strike into the top corner. Was brought off after an hour as Ancelotti had one eye on the Champions League.
Had no chance with any of the goals bar the last in which he was far too reluctant to come off the line to claim the ball. Kept the score low in the first half with a couple of solid saves.
Made a couple of vital interceptions in the box, in particular a brilliant defensive header to clear what looked a certain goal for Madrid just before the break. But struggled to deal when being ran by the Madrid attackers and looked susceptible retreating to his own goal.
Displayed some decent ambition down the left-hand side and actually got into some decent positions, but delivery was poor. Lucky to escape a booking after a late challenge on Modric.
Certainly put himself about and was in a no-nonsense mood as he ushered Madrid players off the ball with his strength a few times. However, his eagerness to close down the attackers meant that he was pulled out of position a lot.
Failed to press Ronaldo quick enough with gifted the Portuguese all the space in the world to cut inside and smash a strike home to make it 1-0. Saw plenty of the ball at right-back, but his distribution into the channel was poor and regularly gave possession away.
Attempted to support the lone strike and made some decent late runs into the box, which almost saw him score with a spectacular overhead kick that went just wide of the post. Became pretty frustrated though and eventually came off with injury in the second half.
Rigidly kept to his position just in front of the defence and rarely ventured beyond the halfway line. Made some decent interceptions when the game was tight but still allowed Isco to drift in behind him far too many times.
Was the main threat to the Madrid goal in the first half and came relatively close with an ambitious bicycle kick that went wide and a 25-yard strike that was gobbled up by Diego Lopez. However, had an extremely quiet second half in which he barely saw the ball.
De las Cuevas
Was pretty anonymous throughout a game in which he failed to make a positive or a negative impact. Had a couple of assured touches on the wing but just didn't pose a threat at all.
Was very dependable in possession and his passes hit their target for the most part, but most gave in areas which were unlikely to help Madrid. Having said that, his composure in central areas certainly aided Osasuna's cause.
Was feeding off scraps for the majority of the match as he got very little change out of the the Madrid central defenders. However, didn't really make space for himself with runs into the channels or introduce others into play.
