Made a decent save from a free kick just a few minutes in which would have boosted his confidence on his debut. Didn't have too much to deal with in terms of shot stopping thereafter but looked comfortable.
Elche's lone striker was mainly dealt with by Sergio Ramos, so it was a ponderous night for the Frenchman who went through the motions. Neat and tidy on the ball and seemed content to sit back.
Displayed his electric pace on the left wing all night. Continually hit the byline to get crosses into the box and assisted Ronaldo's header with a superb ball in to the middle of the danger area.
Kept track of Jonathan quite well despite the striker being fairly active in the first half, battling to win possession. Should have scored but sent a header straight down the throat of the keeper.
Was always available for a pass on the right-hand side and seemed to link up well with Kroos when drifting inside. Did take a few knocks, though, and was brought off as a precaution in the second period.
Had fun out there tonight. Displayed a terrific touch and manipulation of the ball in the final third and was always looking to pick out incisive passed in between the lines for his teammates.
Has found another dimension to his game with late runs into the box. Equalized in the first half when he got in front of his marker to head in at the front post and assisted Ronaldo's fourth with a threaded pass into the box.
Benefited from having Illarrameni in behind him, which allowed him to try and effect the play further forward. Should have opened his Real Madrid account but sent a couple of strikes wide and over from decent positions.
Popped up all over the place in the first half as he acted as the link between midfield and attack. Looks to be forming a cohesion with the other attackers and found Bale with a lovely cross into the box for the Welshman to score.
Provided Madrid with a stability in front of the defense that has been missing at times this season. Wasn't spectacular in his passing of the ball but did the smart thing every time and nearly always found a teammate.
Clinical and ruthless. Displayed wonderful hunger to get on the end of Marcelo's cross to bullet a header home, neatly finished past the keeper in the latter stages and rifled home two emphatic penalties. Goal machine.
Should have did much better for Bale's equalizer in the first half as he seemed to take ages to get down on his line. Kept the score lower than it should have been with a string of solid saves.
Didn't organize the defense particularly well as the back four didn't seem to form a cohesive unit. Struggled to deal with the movement of Ronaldo and Bale, who continually made late dashes into the box.
Allowed Bale to get across him far too easily to head into the bottom corner in the first half. Was also all over the place for Ronaldo's second goal as the Portuguese had all the room in the world to head home from 12 years.
Should have got much closer to Marcelo for the third Madrid goal as the Brazilian had time and space to pick out a cross for Ronaldo. Was given a torrid time on occasion by the left back, but did contribute some forward runs a couple of times.
Was a danger from his set pieces all night. Gave Elche the lead in the first half with an extremely well-taken penalty and they netted again moments later with a free kick that fizzed inches by the post.
Won the penalty in the first half but then gave away a spot kick minutes later to gift Madrid a route back into the match. Should have did more to get in the faces of Illarramendi and Kroos, who had too much room to pick out passes.
Displayed an impressive turn of pace and had Madrid on the ropes at times with his direct running down the right-hand side, which caused Marcelo to concede a booking. Didn't provide the same width in the second half though.
Spent most of his match chasing shadows trying to win the ball back in midfield but this meant he was fatigued by half time. Got nearer to Mosquera in the second half which provided a better barrier in front of the defense.
Was decent in the first 20 minutes and hugged the touchline in an attempt to find space and get crosses in. Drifted out of the match as time went on but did make some decent runs in behind the defense which went unseen by his teammates.
Put in a decent shift up top as he physical strength proved to be an asset when holding up the ball. However, didn't pose much of a goal threat himself as Navas never really had a save to make.
Should have got on the scoresheet as he got into some decent positions. Pacey runs forward had Madrid on the back foot at times but a decent shot at goal that went just over was swiftly followed by a horrible mishit inside the box.
